Warrior Dash 2012

Brandon ran in the 5K Warrior Dash this year.  It was a 5K plus obstacles and mud.

We thought it would be fun to take the whole family to watch.  It wasn't.  It took us over 2 hours to get to the place which was only about 20 minutes away. It was hot, windy, and in a big dirt field.  There was no cell phone service so Brandon couldn't even find all of his work buddies that were supposed to meet him there.  The kids lasted about 10 minutes and then we sat in the car for the rest of the race.  It was miserable. Luckily I thought to bring the dvd player. Luckily Norah and Nelly slept a little. We won't be going again. 

Brandon had a good time though.  He would probably do it again.

Nelly Jane first food

Miss Nelly ate her first "real food" on April 23rd. She at that rice cereal right up.  

She loved it at the moment but we haven't gotten her to eat it since! She loves all other baby food though. 

Norah is 4!

Norah turned 4 years old this year.  She got a big bike for her birthday.  She loves riding it and is getting pretty good on it.

We took Norah, Maggie, Luci, Susie, and Hannah (and Owen) to Build-a-Bear for a birthday/going away party.  They each got to pick out an animal and stuff it.  They had a blast.
