The Farm

While we were in Idaho we decided to go over to Aunt Brittney's house in Star Valley, Wyoming to play with the cousins.  It was freezing cold there but the kids had a blast.
Bridger and Owen digging holes.
Norah loved the swing set but didn't like walking out by herself because of their big german shepard puupy that jumped all over her.
The whole time we were there Norah kept asking when she was going to get to ride a horse and a tractor.  She kept asking, "when will my horse be ready?"  Norah is kinda a sissy so I figured she would take one look at the horse and not want to go anywhere close to it.  I even told Clay's dad that it was't that big of deal and it would probably be a waste of time to get the horse out and ready.

Norah jumped right up on that horse and rode like a champ.  She loved every minute of it and didn't want to get off.  I was shocked.

Owen liked the horse too but wasn't as thrilled as Norah.
Owen riding the horse.  (Look at the snow in the mountains... almost June.)
Clay fulfilled another one of my kids' dreams.  They had a huge tree fall on their house a week or so before we came so Clay actually had work to do with the tractor moving the branches.  My kids went along for the ride and loved it. Thanks for the fun Clay and Brittney.
I was a little nervous til Clay closed the door.  He said by the end of the trip Owen was trying to get up closer and see out the doors.

All of the boy cousins. Bridger, Owen, Gunner, and Beckham.

Grandma and Grandpa Mac's house

A few weeks ago the kids and I drove up to Idaho for a couple of weeks.  Brandon had a busy couple weeks so we decided to take off and see the grandparents for a little while. Our first stop was in Idaho Falls to see Grandma and Grandpa Mac.
We brought a huge box of chalk up and the kids had a great time coloring with Grandma Mac.
All Owen wanted to do was play basketball with Grandpa Mac.  I don't have any pictures of them playing for some reason but that is all they did pretty much the whole time. Horse, Pig, and any game they could think of.
Owen and Grandma doing some pottery.  Owen had a blast and was actually pretty good at it.
Making cookies with Grandma and Grandpa
The cousins reading a book with Grandma.

We had a blast with them and can't wait til hopefully we live a lot closer so we can see them more often

Pre-K Graduation

Owen had his Pre-K Graduation on May 7.  He was so excited.  He loved Pre-K and his teacher Mrs. Tanya.  He is going to miss all of his friends he made, especially Jose and Diego.
Owen walking up the aisle to the graduation song.  Underneath their gowns they had to dress up like what they wanted to be when they grew up.
Owen was one of the biggest in his class so he had to sit in the back row.
Owen's class singing their songs.
Owen telling what he wanted to be when he grew up.  "When I grow up I want to be a foot doctor.  A foot doctor fixes feet."  People were really impressed with him.  Most kids wanted to be a princess, swimmer, transformer... one wanted to be a security guard.
Owen and Norah before graduation.  Owen practiced his line in front of Norah and she started joing in.  She would say, "When I grow up I want to be a mom.  Mom's drive cars.
Owen and his two best buddies.  Jose and Diego

Owen starts Kindergarten on July 27th.  He is really excited to go.  He knows how to read now and it really ready to go (and so is his mother).  We love you Owen and are so proud of you and the good kid that you are.
